Pharmaceuticals manufacturer Arvind Remedies has clocked a 77 per cent growth in net profit for the first quarter at Rs 16 crore, from Rs 9 crore in the previous corresponding quarter. Net sales grew 31 per cent to Rs 184 crore (Rs 140 crore). Arvind B. Shah, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said: “During the quarter, our focus was on branded products in the domestic market and selecting products to file as ANDA (abbreviated new drug application) for the US market.”
