The Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL), Aluva, has bagged the State Pollution Control Excellence Award-2010, constituted by the State Government in the category of medium scale industrial units for the year 2010-11.
CMRL holds the distinction in receiving this award consecutively for the fifth time for its excellent performance in the field of environment protection, pollution control and besides schemes implemented as part of their social commitment.
CMRL is the largest producer of Ferric Chloride and Ferrous Chloride certified by NSF International as safe drinking water treatment chemical, which is used all over the world for drinking water purification, sea water desalination and waste water treatment.
