BGR Energy Systems' net profit for the fourth quarter of 2011-12 has dropped by about a third of its profit in the corresponding previous quarter.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 67.17 crore (Rs 98.35 crore) for the quarter ended March 31, 2012, on an income of Rs 1,137.74 crore (Rs 1,461.63 crore).
For 2011-12, the net profit was Rs 223.52 crore (Rs 324.21 crore) on an income of Rs 4,750.29 crore (Rs 3,450.50 crore). According to a press release from the company, the Board has recommended dividend of Rs 7 (70 per cent) a share of Rs 10.
Power Projects Division (PPD) contributed Rs. 3,043 crore to the revenue. The value of orders won last year is over Rs 10,675 crore. The outlook for the long term remains encouraging and positive for the company. The company carries an order book of Rs 15,123 crore.
