BS Transcomm Ltd has recorded a net profit of Rs 14.10 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012, up 29 per cent against Rs 10.95 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company revenue for the fourth quarter was up 22.5 per cent at Rs 413.76 crore (Rs 337.62 crore).A provider of power infrastructure including transmission network, the company recorded a net profit of Rs 58.42 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2012, a growth of 14.6 per cent over Rs 50.96 crore it logged for the previous year.
The consolidated revenue for the year was up 47 per cent at Rs 1,279 crore (Rs 871 crore). In a statement, the company said that it now had an order book of Rs 809 crore under execution and has bid for orders worth Rs 1,424 crore as of March 31.
The Board proposed a final dividend of 10 per cent for the year.
The company shares ended at Rs 173.30 down three per cent on Thursday.
