Chicco, the baby care brand owned by Italian group Artsana, will sett up a facility to manufacture feeding bottles at Pune.
Additionally, Chicco is also increasing its local sourcing from the country to reduce its import dependency and also to cater to the global market.
“We are in the process of setting up a manufacturing unit to make feeding bottles in India. We are awaiting BIS certification before we set up the plant. The facility, likely to be operational by December this year, may also look at manufacturing other products for the domestic market,” Mr Vineeth Nair, Chief Executive officer, Chicco, told Business Line .
