Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) has paid a dividend of ₹9.48 crore to the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) for the year 2013-14. The Hyderabad-based public sector unit under the DAE posted a net profit of ₹47 crore (₹26 crore last year) on a turnover of ₹1,456 crore for the fiscal 2013-14. It saw a growth of 80 per cent in profits over the previous fiscal. P Sudhakar, Chairman and Managing Director, handed over a cheque to RK Sinha, Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary, DAE.
