G. Srinivasan, former Chairman and Managing Director of United India Insurance Co Ltd, is now the CMD of New India Assurance.
With this appointment, New India Assurance, after almost a year, would function with a full-time Chairman and Managing Director.
In August last year, the Government suspended the then Chairman of New India Assurance, M. Ramadoss, as there were some serious allegations against him, and appointed G. Srinivasan of United India Insurance to hold the interim charge there.
Miland Khrat, acting CMD of Agriculture Insurance Company, has replaced Srinivasan at United India Insurance.
