Handygo Technologies Private Ltd has claimed that its subscriber base for the interactive voice response service Behtar Zindagi has crossed the membership of six lakh. The IVR solution provides information on market prices, agricultural and cropping advisory, livestock advisory, weather, finance, education, women and child healthcare.
The company has launched the service in regional IVR, with SMS and Voice SMS support.
It is now available in 18 different languages which reduces the language barrier. “Very soon, the company will launch same service in GPRS application as well,” Mr Dipanker Mukherjee, Chief Operating Officer of Handygo Technologies, said here in a press release on Tuesday.
“We have launched the product seeing shortage of accessible information on agricultural advisory, market rates and weather scenario,” he said.
The subscribers will be sensitised on the usage, scope and benefits of using the service for enhancement of their yield and production.
The service also offers location-based service in order provide accurate information to people in specific areas. In the last three years, the firm received 10 million queries.
