Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd (HDO) has announced that it has bagged orders worth Rs 128.4 crore from various public sector undertakings, including one from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, for its Kakrapar unit.
According to a statement to the stock exchanges, the NPCIL, Mumbai has mandated HDO for supply of equipment including accumulators, tanks for its Kakrapar atomic power project unit 3 and 4. The order is valued at Rs 17.2 crore. These equipment are to be manufactured by the company at Vatva, Ahmedabad and supplied at the site. Both the orders are to be executed within 21 months.
Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) has handed over a Rs 73.9-crore order and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd another order worth Rs 37.3 crore.
