Moldtek Packaging, a Hyderabad-based rigid plastic packaging company, posted a growth of 34 per cent in net profit at Rs 3.51 crore (Rs 2.60 crore) for the first quarter ended June 30. Turnover grew to Rs 55.88 crore (Rs 41.78 crore) for the quarter. The EPS was Rs 4.40 (annualised Rs 17.58), according to a press release. During the quarter the company entered the food industry with supply of ice cream packaging to Amul and Vadilal Industries Ltd. It was named exclusive supplier to Kansai Nerlolac Paints owing to the commissioning of the Hosur plant.
