The third edition of the WOW awards for events and experiential marketing saw Mudra Group score maximum with 12 awards, including four Golds.

Wizcraft won seven metals, also with four golds, and a ‘WOW Paradigm of the Year' trophy for the XIX Commonwealth Games ceremonies.

An eight-member panel chaired by Mr Sanjay Jain, CMO, Reliance Capital, judged the 2011 edition.

Categories

In the category of on-ground promotion (to increase sales volume), Candid Marketing won Gold for ‘Google Bus Project'. Also in promotions, Mudra Group took top honours for small budget promotion ‘NAB May I Help You'.

The best launch event of 2010 was judged as ‘Hero Honda Marketing Convention', conceptualised and entered by G2 rams India. Mudra Group was again awarded gold in the category best brand association with a live platform, for its Orbit 12{+t}{+h} Man initiative for Wrigley.

In the integrated media campaign of the year category, SOI Live Marketing won gold for an entry ‘Punjab Mein Kranti', while Skoda's ‘Right of Way Expedition' by GroupM Media won silver.

Industry bodies supporting the WOW Awards include Ad Club Bombay, EEMA (Event and Entertainment Management Association), ICPB (Indian Conventions Promotion Bureau) and RMAI (Rural Marketing Association of India).
