As a part of its CSR activities, NTPC recently distributed uniforms to approximately 6,000 children of different schools surrounding its Korba Thermal Power Station. Sewing machines were handed over to 70-odd tribal women who had completed a two-month training programme. The power utility also handed over a cheque of Rs 2 crore to the Institute of Technology, Korba.
