Natco Pharma Ltd's consolidated net profit increased 13 per cent to Rs 13.72 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2010 compared with Rs 12.14 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Total revenues were up at Rs 118.34 crore from Rs 117 crore in the year-ago period. The company had reported a loss of Rs 3 crore on the sale of one of its retail stores, Nick's Drugs in the US which was announced last month. The earnings per share stood at Rs 4.87 (Rs 4.31). The board of Natco had recommend an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share payable on March 10, 2011, according to a release. Natco's scrip slipped 0.35 per cent to Rs 270.15 on the BSE on Tuesday.
