Open access journals publisher and conference organiser, OMICS Group, has invested Rs 6 crore (one million dollar) in the Hyderabad-based event technology solutions provider, MeraEvents.
Disclosing this at a press conference here on Thursday, Founder-CEO of MeraEvents, Naidu Darapaneni, said the city-based investor would get a minority stake in the company.
Established in 2009, MeraEvents had registered transaction revenue of Rs 1.6 crore in 20011-12, which had gone up to Rs 6.4 crore in the last financial year.
