Sun TV Network Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 164.44 crore for the quarter ended June 30, almost flat compared with Rs 164.31 crore in the corresponding previous period. This is despite the over 41 per cent Q1 growth in topline at Rs 602 crore (Rs 426 crore).
In a regulatory filing, the company has said that excluding the IPL account, net profit grew 12 per cent, at Rs 184.78 crore, driven largely by increased advertisement and subscription revenues.
