Tata Housing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, has announced a mixed use township project at Colombo in Sri Lanka, in partnership with UDA (Urban Development Authority) of Sri Lanka for an investment of over ₹2,400 crore.
The company plans to begin construction of residences for rehabilitation of the current tenants in the first phase, and also launch a mix use development project at slave Island in Colombo. Nimal Parera , Chairman, UDA said: “This first redevelopment project under the PPP model will provide a better quality of life for the current tenants of slave island.”
