The US-based marketing solutions company, Visual IQ, is on a recruitment drive to scale up its operations from India.
It is planning to induct around 60 freshers through campus selection from reputed institutions in the country. As of now, the company has a development centre in Kochi, and will later move to a bigger space in Infopark.
It is also looking at the possibility of opening an office in Bangalore .
Mr Anto Chittilappilly, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, told Business Line that the company had started the process of recruiting people and is now focusing on IIT Chennai, Indian Business School, Hyderabad, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkotta, and Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
He said in line with the highly specialised analytical nature of the company's business, there was scope for employing talented statistical research personnel and the Indian Statistical Institute is expected to meet the requirement.
The company is also in need of management professionals and engineering graduates to complement its operational profile.
Clients
The company was set up in 2007 with Boston, US, as the headquarters and over the last three years, it has bagged clients like AT&T, Microsoft, Cathay Pacific, Texas Instruments, Nortel, Xerox, Cable Vision, Liberty Mutual and Wachovia, among others.
Mr Anto said ‘marketing attribution' is the company's unique contribution to market intelligence solutions, and is a process with which appropriate levels of credit are assigned to the various marketing channels such as advertisements and online exposures.
This will enable the companies to make suitable allocations to the channels, resulting in better return on investment.
