The country’s second largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto has reported a 1.38 per cent decrease in its motorcycle sales at 3,18,377 units in June.
The company had sold 3,22,827 units in the corresponding month last year, Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) said in a statement today.
Exports also fell 18.34 per cent to 1,16,062 units from 1,42,124 units in June 2011.
In the three-wheeler category, the company said its sales stood at 26,785 units against 43,830 units, a dip of 38.89 per cent.
Total vehicle sales stood at 3,45,162 units (3,66,657 units), a decline of 5.86 per cent, the statement said.
