Amrut Rath, the HR chief of motorcycle major Bajaj Auto, and his wife, Padmaja, were killed and their two children injured in a road accident on the Mumbai to Pune Expressway on Sunday.
The accident occurred when Rath, who was driving the car, lost control and hit the road divider near Lonavala, 60 km from Pune. The family was rushed to a hospital, where he and his wife were declared dead on arrival. The children, aged 18 and 10, are injured and are being treated in the intensive care unit.
