Defence public sector Bharat Electronics Ltd's order book as on October 1 stood at Rs 21,648 crore. During the second quarter (Q2) of financial year 2015-16, the company had acquired new orders worth Rs 1,980 crore.
Major orders acquired during Q2 were interated air command control system, ground-based mobile ELINT system, electronic fuze, armoured engineer reconnaissance vehicle, components kit for DFCC and ADC, and handheld thermal acquisition binocular.
On the exports front, order book as on October 1 stood at $172.78 million and export turnover was $22.63 million.
