Reliance Entertainment Digital’s movie-on-demand service, BIGFlix, has entered into a licensing agreement with content house Shemaroo Entertainment to stream a wide range of all time blockbusters movies.

All the titles can be streamed on PCs, tablets and mobile phones at a subscription fee of Rs 249 across platforms.

The catalogue offers an assortment of timeless classics to latest hits with a perfect blend of genres in multiple languages — Hindi, Marathi and Tamil.

Few of the finest Hindi classics are like the iconic film  Mughal-E-Azam , Raj Kapoor’s  Anari , Mithun’s  Disco Dancer , Rajesh Khanna’s  Roti  to some of the contemporary films like Amitabh Bachchan’s  Black , Aamir Khan’s  Sarfarosh , Vidya Balan’s  Ishqiya and The Dirty Picture, among others.

The Marathi catalogue will feature key titles like  Aaichcha Gondhal, Abhimanyu, Joshi ki Kamble  and  Juiley , while Tamil will have Balam, Ivar, Mahesh Saranya Matrum Palar  and Manja Velu .

BIGFLIX has been consistently expanding its content offering by partnering leading entertainment houses. The subscription of BIGFlix can be availed starting from Rs 99 and can be accessed across platforms like laptops, tablets and smartphones.  

Shemaroo Entertainment aims to expand and monetise every platform where a consumer is present. Ranging from traditional media like television, where the company is already one of the top sources for content, to digital platforms like Internet, IPTV and smart gadgets, it has tied up with all major industry players.
