Cera Sanitaryware Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 28 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2018, against Rs 27 crore reported in the same quarter last year, up about 4 per cent. Net sales income for the quarter stood at Rs 331 crore, against Rs 296 crore, up by 12 per cent.
The basic and annualised earnings per share (basic and diluted) during the second quarter stood at Rs 21.64 and Rs 86.56 compared with Rs 20.97 and Rs 83.87, respectively in the same period last year. The company shares were trading down 1.4 per cent at Rs 2,408.35 on the BSE.
