Beverage major Coca-Cola India on Monday announced re-jigging of its leadership structure.

As part of this move, the company has appointed Sundeep Bajoria as Vice-President – South West Asia Operations. It has also roped in former Nestle executive Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan as the Vice-President-Strategy & Insights, Coca-Cola India & South-West Asia.

The company said that the new structure is designed to enable the India and South-West Asia business to be a growth engine for the Coca-Cola Company by leveraging on emerging opportunities and focusing on talent development.

In a statement, T Krishnakumar, President, Coca-Cola India & South West Asia said, “We believe there are significant opportunities that lie ahead of us to grow our portfolio and meaningfully penetrate the market. These changes will address developing business needs and pave the way to develop a stronger portfolio for the future. It also reinforces our commitment towards investing in talent development.”

In his new role, Bajoria will now spearhead the South-West Asian region and work on making it an “innovation and growth engine” for the India and South West Asia business, the company said. He has been working with Coca-Cola for the past 14 years in multiple roles in group businesses and bottling investment groups.

Meanwhile, Radhakrishnan will lead strategic initiatives as Coca-Cola is assessing new opportunities to offer a broader portfolio of beverages to consumers. Besides Nestle, he has worked with companies such as Britannia, Marico and Airtel. In his last stint, he was the head of consumer communication and e-commerce at Nestle.
