The Construction Architecture and Interior (CAI) EXPO 2018, being hosted at the Hitex, the three-day expo was inaugurated today with participation from diverse set of companies and solutions providers.

Arun Luharuka, President, President of the Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry , inaugurated the much-awaited annual exhibition that brings together industry players from the construction, architecture and interiors.

Mentioning about the rapid strides Hyderabad and the construction industry is making in Telangana and South India, Luharuka said “The city has emerged one of the fastest growing markets and the availability of large parcels of land around it and huge infrastructure development, including Outer Ring Road and the International Airport have made it an attractive destination.”

 

 

 

To be held till August 19, the expo which is in its sixth edition, is being organised by The Hindu BusinessLine in association with i ads & events group.

Showcasing the range of construction equipment and their versatility, Manjunth S, General Manager of Doosan Bobcat India, the title sponsor of the event, said: “The company is looking at rapidly expanding its business.”

Explaining the advantages of some of the excavators, he said, “They are already been deployed in some of the construction sites.”

One-stop platform

Serving as one-stop platform for construction and interiors, the three-day event has brought together diverse set of participants. These include environment friendly, smart and stylish products and equipment.

Prime uPVC showcased its windows and construction blocks and Sintex brought together a wide range of products from its portfolio, including water storage tanks, disposal bins, and rooftop/wall panels and K-Lite and Svarochi showcased their lighting solutions.

For the participants, it is an opportunity to demonstrate their products to visitors and explain their advantages.

For the visitors seeking to get some insights into the latest products and trends, the expo offers new range of lighting systems, smart lighting solutions, innovative window systems, modular kitchen units, fly ash-based concrete light weight blocks for construction, specialised tiles for data centres, and power back-up solutions.

Apart from viewing a wide range of products under one roof, visitors also get an opportunity to interact with company representatives and experts who could guide them in decision making.
