Multiplex chain Inox Leisure has entered into a strategic partnership with Harkness Screens, a screen technology company, to install Clarus XC 270 3D screen technology in over 100 screens.
The deployment of the hi-tech screens will enable guests to experience fourth-generation screens, which will provide a wide viewing angle, greater uniformity and improved colour and contrast during both 2D and 3D screenings.
Jitender Verma, CTO, Inox Leisure Ltd said, “Inox Leisure has been at the forefront of technological innovations. This strategic association with Harkness Screens will set a benchmark in the way patrons experience cinema and we believe going forward it has the potential to be an important differentiator for Inox”.
Richard Mitchell, VP, Global Marketing and Commercial Development, Harkness Screens said, “This roll-out showcases Inox's continued commitment to improving the cinematic experience. Through the deployment of Clarus XC technology, audiences across India will receive a truly immersive viewing experience from both 2D and 3D performances.”
