Ipca Laboratories today reported over two-fold jump in standalone net profit to Rs 47.57 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, on account of robust sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 20.92 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, Ipca Laboratories said in a filing to BSE.
Standalone total income from operations also rose to Rs 842.16 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 756.09 crore in the corresponding period last year.
While income from exports during the first quarter of this fiscal was up 17 per cent to Rs 441.23 crore, income from Indian formulations was up 9 per cent to Rs 345.21 crore, it said.
Shares of Ipca Laboratories were trading at Rs 521.60 a scrip in the afternoon trade on BSE, up 3.84 per cent from their previous close.
