The presence of an incoming western disturbance has muddied up weather over Dharamsala in Haridwar, venue for this evening’s IPL cricket match.

The two ‘kings’ in the fray, Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings, are pitted against each other in the match scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) sees partly cloudy conditions with 60 per cent chance of thunderstorms in this high-altitude stadium.

Humidity levels may peak to 80 per cent, providing for stifling conditions for play out in the middle. Steady west-southwesterly winds could offer some respite, though.

The day is likely to stay mostly cloudy, and temperature may not cross 32 deg Celsius but its ‘feel’ could be at much elevated levels thanks to the moisture carry.
