Jindal Lifestyle Ltd has opened Arttd’inox store of the lifestyle stainless steel products brand of the O.P. Jindal Group here, and outlined plans for expansion of its network of retail stores to 20 by 2016.

Showcasing the luxurious line of homeware, table-top accessories and stainless steel modular kitchen at the brand’s flagship store here, Arun Matta, Senior Vice-President, Jindal Lifestyle Ltd, said: “The company has carved a niche in this segment as we are the only one to make all stainless steel modular kitchens.”

“We are expanding our chain of stores from 11 operational stores and expect to add three more shortly and take the number of stores to 20 by 2016 and to 50 by 2020.

“Last financial year, we closed with a turnover of ₹400 crore and expect to cross ₹560 crore this year.

“We are targeting a turnover of ₹1,500 crore by 2020,” Matta told BusinessLine .

This business brings out the versatility of stainless steel and a number of innovative homeware made out of different textured materials such as wood and fine bone china.

Apart from home applications, the company offers solutions for airports, railways, and other public places, and has also designed a stainless steel toilet under the Swachh Bharat drive.

The division was carved out by Deepikka Jindal, Executive Creative Director and MD Arttd’inox, and MD of JSL Architecture Ltd.

The brand Arttd’inox has grown to become a major player in luxury stainless steel modular kitchens and stainless steel furniture.

The company has some overseas presence and is seeking to tap opportunities in other markets, Matta said.
