Paint and TMT bar manufacturer Kamdhenu Limited has posted a net profit of ₹ 5.19 crore in the unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended September 30. Total profit during the same quarter of last fiscal was ₹ 3.13 crore, a company statement said on Tuesday.
Total income of the company stood at ₹ 332.19 crore against ₹ 271.29 crore in the same period of the corresponding quarter.
The Board of Directors of the Company have recommended de-merger of paint segment, subject to the approval by shareholders after complying with all regulatory compliances.
Steel business of the company contributed 83.3 per cent of revenues in Q2, while 16.7 per cent came from paint division.
