India Kawasaki Motors has launched its first cruiser Vulcan S assembled at its Chakan plant located near Pune.
While introducing the cruiser, the company said its unveiling will be in the Delhi Auto Expo.
The cruiser is stylish, urban and a suitable option for all riders including new and female riders. It stands apart due to its parallel twin engine, unique frame and suspension layout and non-traditional looks.
On the launch of a new motorcycle, Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director, India Kawasaki Motor, in a statement said, “After our sports bikes, tourer bikes, naked bikes and off road bikes settled in India, we felt it was a right time for us to bring this cruiser in the market. There cannot be a better way to start a new year than by introduction of our world-wide known Vulcan brand.”
The Vulcan S is equipped with liquid-cooled, DOHC, eight-valve 649 cm3 Parallel Twin with fuel injection which delivers smooth, responsive performance, especially in the low and medium rpm ranges.
The ABS along with 300 mm large disc with dual-piston and 250 mm disc with single piston along with enable riders. The Vulcan S is priced at ₹5,44,000 ex-showroom.
