L&T said it has agreed to sell its medical equipment business in Mysore to Skanray Healthcare.
L&T’s medical equipment division, known as L&T Medical Equipment & Systems, was established in 1987 as a part of the company’s efforts to expand into emerging areas.
Its product range comprises critical care patient monitors, ECG machines and electrosurgical diathermies. Traded products include anaesthesia machines, ventilators and defibrillators.
Mysore-based Skanray Healthcare is owned by Skanray Technologies.
It is engaged in the business of diagnostic imaging products and primary healthcare devices.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
