The Competition Commission of India is probling resale price arrangements between product manufacturers and online retailers, according to Chairman Ashok Chawla.
He said the product manufacturer putting a floor price, below which online retailers can’t sell, is anti-competitive.
Curbing anti-competitive practices only partly dependent on penalties; companies need to know CCI is keeping a watch, Chawla told PTI.
