McCain Foods India Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of frozen foods giant, McCain Foods Canada, has announced the appointment of Mr Vikas Mittal as Managing Director of India and Subcontinent region.
Mr Mittal moves from Dabur India, where he was Executive Vice-President (Marketing) for Dabur's Personal and Home Care Division, and subsequently moved as Head of Innovations of the company. In his new role at McCain, Mr Mittal will shape long-term growth strategies for the company, besides building the McCain brand in India.
Announcing the appointment, Mr Fred Schaeffer, Regional President, Asia Pacific, West Asia and Africa - McCain Foods said, “Mr Vikas brings a wealth of FMCG Marketing and general management experience to his new role, and is a true internationalist.”
