Gunnebo India, a subsidiary of Gunnebo AB Group, Sweden said that it has acquired licences from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Government of India for its Minimax brand of fire extinguishers.
The company said that it is the first in India to receive this licence for the new standards for fire extinguishers (IS: 15683), which come into effect from this year. The new standard is similar to standards being followed in most developed countries, said a release from the company.
