Natco Pharma today said its consolidated net profit rose by 32.48 per cent to Rs 14.03 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 10.59 crore in the same period last financial year, Natco Pharma said in a filing to the Bombay stock Exchange (BSE).
Total income of the company stood at Rs 123 crore for the June quarter, compared to Rs 122.05 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
On a standalone basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs 13.77 crore for the June quarter, as against Rs 10.44 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Shares of Natco Pharma today closed at Rs 259.65 on BSE, down 1.12 per cent from its previous close.
