NCC Ltd has posted a profit of Rs 103.67 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2019, up 63 per cent as against a profit of Rs 63.43 crore on a standalone basis. The Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure company achieved a turnover of Rs 2,389.14 crore (including other income) in the first quarter, as against Rs 2,034.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, resulting in 17 per cent growth.

On a consolidated basis, the company reported a profit of Rs 102.16 crore and a turnover of Rs 2,530.81 crore in the first quarter of financial year 2018-19, as against a profit of Rs 28.28 crore and turnover of Rs 2,219.67 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

During the first quarter of 2018-19, the company secured orders aggregating to Rs 4,170 crore and the order book stood at Rs 32,792 crore, including orders of international and mining subsidiary companies of Rs 2,232 crore as at the end of the quarter, A.Ranga Raju, Managing Director, NCC, said.

Subject to approvals, the company aims to raise Rs 110 crore through the issue of 92,00,000 convertible warrants at a price of Rs 119.37 per warrant on preferential basis to A.V.S.R. Holdings Pvt Ltd., one of the promoters of the company.
