NSL Sugars, an arm of the NSL Group, has acquired the integrated sugar complex of Jay Mahesh Sugar Industries in Beed district of Maharashtra. The complex has a capacity of 5,000 tonnes of cane crushing per day (tcd).
NSL Sugars has bought the entire stake from Chandigarh-based Spray Engineering Devices Ltd (SEDL).
Jay Mahesh, with an asset base of Rs 300 crore, has a cane catchment area of 108 villages with an aggregate cultivable area of 83,460 hectares, Mr Mandava Prabhakar Rao, Chairman of NSL group, said.
