Radico Khaitan net profit rose 81.2 per cent to Rs 17.4 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011, over the same period previous fiscal.
The net profit stood at Rs 9.6 crore in the same period last fiscal, the liquor maker said in a statement today.
The company’s net sales for the fourth quarter rose to Rs 333.8 crore from 297.7 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.
For the year ended March 31, 2011, the company posted a net profit of Rs 72.8 crore compared with Rs 41.5 crore in the previous fiscal.
Commenting on the results, the Radico Khaitan CMD, Mr Lalit Khaitan, said: “We had a strong performance in FY2011 as a result of our continued focus on the premiumisation of our portfolio.’’
The company’s net sales rose to Rs 1,330.6 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011 from Rs 1,147.1 crore in the previous fiscal.
Meanwhile, the company shares today closed at Rs 138.35 on Bombay Stock Exchange, down 0.57 per cent from the previous close.
