State-owned coal mining company Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has produced 5.01 million tonnes of coal during October 2015 against a target of 4.73 mt, thereby registering an output of 106 per cent. Last October (2014), the company had produced 4.24 mt. During October 2015, it supplied 4.75 mt against 4.35 mt during October 2014, an increase of over 9 .22 per cent.
