Stanza Living, a student housing brand, has announced the launch of its operations in Hyderabad with a capacity of 2,000 beds.

These professionally-managed, tech-enabled accommodations are present in student-preferred areas of Kukatpally and Nizampet.

Inventory

Co-founded by Sandeep Dalmia and Anindya Dutta in 2017, the company has an inventory of 22,000 beds in nine cities in India and plans to launch 1 lakh beds in total by 2021.

Stanza Living accommodation offers fully-furnished rooms, interactive entertainment and community areas, chef-designed menu of nutritious regional meals, professional housekeeping services, laundry facility, Wi-Fi and 24x7 hi-tech security ecosystem.

Anindya Dutta, Co-founder, Stanza Living, said in a statement: “There exists a substantial demand-supply gap in student housing segment, which is largely an unorganised real estate asset. There is a critical need for bespoke student housing solutions where students can be assured of comfort, quality and security.”

‘High-potential market’

“Over the years, Hyderabad has become one of the key educational hubs of the country and we feel it will be a high-potential market for us in southern India, as we target a capacity of 1 lakh beds by 2021,” he said.

Backed by global investors like Sequoia Capital, Accel Partners, Matrix Partners and Alteria Capital, the company is one of the fastest growing student housing brands in the country. It is currently present in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, expanding simultaneously in Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehardun, Indore and Vadodara.
