TVS Motor Company will introduce two new motorcycles this year, including TVS Victor and a high-powered premium bike.

It also plans to upgrade its existing products to further strengthen its portfolio and consolidate its position and performance in the current financial year, according to a company press release.

It has reported over 72 per cent growth in net profit at ₹90.52 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, against ₹52.12 crore in the comparable previous year quarter.

Revenues increased 14 per cent to ₹2,457 crore from ₹2,160 crore in the fourth quarter of 2013-14.

A comprehensive product portfolio, good market acceptance of new products and consequent growth in volumes enabled the company to post good results for 2014-15, said the release. Motorcycles sales increased from 1.97 lakh units registered in the fourth quarter of 2013-14 to 2.21 lakh units in the quarter under consideration. Scooters sales increased to 1.66 lakh units from 1.37 lakh units. Two-wheeler exports grew from 67,000 units to 83,000 units.

Three-wheeler sales went up from 21,294 units to 26,901 units.

For the full year, the overall two-wheeler sales, including exports, grew from 19.93 lakh units in 2013-14 to 24 lakh units in 2014-15.

Three-wheeler sales increased from 0.8 lakh units to 1.08 lakh units. Exports increased from 3.09 lakh units to 4.13 lakh units.

During the year ended March 2015, PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia registered total sales of 23,348 units compared with 19,191 units in the previous financial year.

The board of directors has declared a second interim dividend of ₹1.15 per share (115 per cent) for 2014-15.
