Srinivasan Services Trust (SST), the social arm of TVS Motor Company and Sundaram-Clayton, has appointed Swaran Singh, IAS (retd), as Chief Executive Officer of the Trust effective August 1. Singh, who brings with him close to three decades of experience in public service, retired from the Tamil Nadu government as Principal Secretary & Commissioner for Industries & Commerce.
Singh has been associated with Srinivasan Services Trust since 2017 in the capacity of Deputy Chairman. Ashoke Joshi, IAS (retd), who was the Chairman of SST for the last 14 years, will now play the role of advisor to the Trust, according to a statement.
