About 20 business delegations from various countries have confirmed their participation in the partnership summit of the Confederation of Indian Industry to be held here during January 11-13.
The delegations from the US, Russia, Singapore, the UK, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, among others are expected to participate in the conference.
This was disclosed by Ms J. Geetha Reddy, Minister for Industries, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the chairperson of the working committee formed by the Government to organise the event here on Thursday.
“We have formed eight nodal committees to look after various aspects such as reception, protocol, accommodation, customs and exhibitions,” she told newspersons after a review meeting on the arrangements for flagship industry event.
“We are working on making exclusive arrangements at GMR airport to ensure speedy clearance from the customs officials,” she added.
A team of officials from State Government also visited many countries in the Europe and Americas to invite business houses to the event.
The venue of the conference would be the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
