The Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia), has invited applications for the Visvesvaraya Award 2010, worth Rs 10,000,jointly instituted with All India Manufacturers' Organisation (AMO). Micro or Small industrial units that started production before April, 2007are eligible to apply for the award, sponsored by Canara Bank.
According to a press release, the applications can be obtained from any office of DIC.TIIC, branches of SBI, Canara Bank and district SSI associations.
