The Central Bureau of Investigation conducted searches on seven express trains following reports of various irregularities, including releasing emergency quota tickets, sources said.
The searches were conducted last night in Cheran Express, Pandian Express, Rockfort Express, Bangalore Mail, Nellai Express, Thiruvananthapuram Mail and Yercaud Express trains, they said.
There were reports of large-scale irregularities in releasing emergency quota tickets, coach maintenance and bed and clothing maintenance, they said.
