The Kochi-based Boomerang Games and Entertainment collected Rs 1 lakh for the infrastructural betterment of Palluruthy Snehabhavan, a child welfare centre run by the Kochi Corporation. The Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Prof K.V. Thomas, handed over the cheque raised from Boomerang Charity Bowl to Rev Fr Sunny Thomas Uppan, Director, Senhabhavan. Boomerang charity bowl — a fund raiser gaming event — was organised by Boomerang Games and Entertainment and Saltmangotree brand consultants. More than 40 teams participated in the pool, dart and bowling tournament. The prime motive behind this gaming event is to create the habit of charity among the corporate and youths in Kochi. Boomerang Games has became a platform for Kochi's first fund raising gaming event through the Boomerang Charity Bowl. The event got massive support from various companies in Kochi including Infopark companies, youths and kids.
