With Ms Ashwini Akkunji failing the dope test for ‘B' sample, her employer Corporation Bank is contemplating taking serious action against her.
However, the bank will wait for the report of the Sports Authority of India before initiating any action.
Mr Ramnath Pradeep, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, told Business Line that the bank has written letters to SAI seeking to know the actions the authority would take against her.
Ms Ashwini is a probationary officer of the bank.
