Dredging Corporation of India Chairman and Managing Director D.K. Mohanty said on Friday that dredging should also be included in naval architecture courses. He was speaking at Shreshtha 2K13 — the first tech-fest of Indian Maritime University, Visakhapatnam campus — which began here on Friday.
Mohanty said all efforts should be made to expose the students to the latest dredging technologies, according to a press release.
Hindustan Shipyard Limited Chairman and Managing Director N.K. Mishra; Andhra University Women’s Engineering College Principal D. Radhakrishna and Director of IMU-Visakhapatnam S.C. Mishra participated in the function.
