Speak Asia, India’s largest integrated market research agency, is eyeing an increase in its base of panelists from the existing 1.5 million to nearly 10 million by December 2011.

“During our one year of operations, we have entered into each and every state of India virtually. Now we will also make our physical presence in those states,” the Speak Asia Chief Marketing Officer, Mr Vivek Gautam, told PTI.

He said the offices will be in place by the end of current financial year, injecting a major growth in the company’s profile of panelists.

“By December, we wants to take have 10 million panelists on board,” Mr Gautam said.

Speak Asia’s three-day-long event, ‘GenX Bazaar 2011’, which began at Baga in Goa on Monday, has 10,000 panelists and 60 vendors from different brands participating.

The company officials said total business worth Rs 220 crore would be transacted during the event, which is being held for the first time. GenX Bazaar 2011 has provided the opportunity for the panelists to spend through their e-wallet.

Mr Gautam said the Singapore-headquartered company will complete one year of existence on May 10. It is into market research and surveys and has been working with reputed clienteles in the Asian region.

The panelists, who are offered an opportunity to earn sitting at home by being part of weekly surveys, has been earning sizeable income, he said adding that for the month of March, the panelists earned Rs 22 crore.
