In range-bound trade, aluminium futures prices moved up by 0.32 per cent to Rs 111.20 a kg on Friday, largely in line with a firm trend at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
Firm trends at the domestic spot market on the back of pick up in demand also supported the upside in aluminium futures prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, aluminium for delivery in December gained 35 paise, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 110.20 a kg, with a business turnover of four lots.
The metal for delivery in January also strengthened by similar margin to Rs 111.05 a kg in a turnover of six lots.
At the LME, aluminium rose 0.4 per cent to $2,442.25 a tonne. Market anlysts said besides firm trend at the LME and pick up in demand at domestic spot markets, influenced the aluminium futures prices.
